Before the Music Dies

Well as a follow up to the previous post, I got into the mood of blogging about music. Anyways, I found this interesting. I ran into an interesting film project while on the internet. I came across a film known as “Before the Music Dies” and premiered in the fall of 2006. From the trailer, I have came to the conclusion that this film is no joke. It is telling the story of the negatives of commercial music, and its effect on our commercial and non commercial audience of today. It also shows the life in the record business, as well as the music business (and explains why there is a difference between the two). The film features many different artists from all genres: Dave Matthews, Erykah Badu, ?uestlove, Eric Clapton, and many more. Although this film was released almost 2 years ago, I still urge anyone and everyone to go and check it out. I know I will.
